Jack Macpherson aged 21 months
Jack flew to heaven on April 29th 2008. He had bravely fought a terrible illness called KRABBES
DISEASE.
Jack was born July 2006, he was a healthy baby who brought so much love and joy to our lives. He
developed normally until he was 6 months old. Within a few weeks he lost all of his skills he was
unable to move, could no longer feed, had poor vision, no smile, he was very ill indeed. We were
told that he may only have a few months left with us and that most babies will not reach 13 months
old. We were devestated, but determind that we would look after him the best we could and make sure
that we enjoyed everyday we had with him.
Jack was a fighter and proved his doctors wrong. He lived much longer than we imagined and we have
so many good memories. He was such an inspiration to me and to all that met him, he will never be
forgotten.
We miss him so much and struggle to accept that he is gone, the house is quiet without him. But we
remember the happy times and we know he is now at peace to laugh and run and play.

Wow Jack, what a gorgeous little boy you are!! Your Mummy and Daddy must be so proud of you. I hope you have lots of fun up on those fluffy clouds with all the baby angels. I know Mummy and Daddy miss you, so I am going to tell them about a website that may help them cope not seeing you. It is called the Child Bereavement Charity, and lots of Mummys and Daddys chat on the forum and give lots of support and advise about having angels and missing them and how to make things slightly better. They will also speak to Mummys and Daddys that will understand and know how we are all feeling. Anyway must not rabbit on, your Mum has put lots of wonderful photos of you on your site. What a beautiful handsome young man you are, and a wee fighter, you gave it your best!
I can't begin to imagen your loss my wee boy is just a couple of months older than Jack.
So loved so precious, like all our children.
Know that I am thinking of you, today and everyday.
I know Jack is in Heaven running around free of pain playing with all our other little angels. God Bless you all. xx
I miss you
Jack, we miss you so much. I miss looking after you, getting you up in the morning, deciding what outfit to put on you, getting all your medicines and feeds ready. You loved just being at home with mummy and daddy, you loved to lie on your special sofa, looking out the window and listening to your music. I miss taking you out with me, you always came with me. I bet you miss all the stories and songs from granny pat and gran mac, they miss you too. Remember all our visits to Robin House, you had so much fun there, in the pool, out on trips, painting pictures. Gill & lou miss you too, but we have lots of memories from those sessions and lots of pictures to treasure forever. Scarlett misses you lots and lots, you were her best friend. I hope that you are with all your angel friends, i imagine you with Robbie & Georgie, and with Makinley and all the other krabbe angels. I bet that Nana and Granpa Jack are looking after you too.
